Hispano Lures

Making lures since 2012

Freedom Tackle Corp. was founded in 2012 by brothers Michael and Nick Tamburro in Toronto, Canada. The brand revolutionized terminal tackle by introducing a patented internal hook-release system that allows anglers to easily swap hooks on a jighead while giving the bait a free-swinging, incredibly life-like swimming motion. This innovative design prevents fish from using the heavy jighead as leverage to shake the hook free, drastically improving landing ratios. In 2020, Freedom Tackle was acquired by American Baitworks Co., which relocated its headquarters and manufacturing to Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Today, Freedom Tackle continues to push the boundaries of lure design with award-winning hybrid jigs, spinnerbaits, and swimbaits.
