Buggs Fishing

Making lures since 2011

Buggs Fishing was founded by Heath Hippel in Magnolia, Texas, in 2011. Driven by a passion for both fly fishing and conventional tackle, Heath created a line of lures that combine the best of both worlds: lures tied with natural materials like rabbit fur, flash, and feathers, but built on weighted custom jig heads that can be cast on spin or baitcast gear. These 'Buggs' are designed to realistically mimic crabs, shrimp, and baitfish, making them deadly in shallow saltwater marshes and flats.
